Good side Bad Side.

The Good Side
The Bad Side

{Cardigan: J.Crew}{Oxfords: Urban Outfitters}

Does anyone else ever notice having a good side or bad side? Well I've noticed that about myself ever since the beginning of high school. Whenever I bring it up people just say I'm being paranoid- well here's the proof! There's definitely an undeniable difference. ALSO, why is it that I always have good hair on my bad side??

Favorite... So far.

Im not totally sure why, but this outfit might be my favorite of the 30 for 30 so far. And it just might be something I repeat sometime in the near future ;)

A warm outfit for a cold day

{Skirt: H&M}{Top: Old Navy}{Tights: We Love Colors}{Sweater: Rue 21}{Belt: Vintage}
{Shoes: Target}{Necklace: Gift}

I've had this outfit in mind ever since I started the challenge. I based it off of this picture from the J.Crew look book. I was planning on using my longer brown sweater instead of this short grey one, but I decided to challenge myself with this one because its length makes it a little harder for me personally to wear. All in all I think it turned out pretty well, even if it wasn't quite the look I was hoping for.

The Chameleon Tights

{Belt: Vintage}

So these last few 30 for 3o posts will be kind of short so I can get back to posting regular stuff (yay!) As for this outfit, I knew I wanted to put the blazer with the dress but after I put it on I was afraid that it was too much black. I wanted to break it up a little bit but still keep it simple so I added my mom's vintage gold belt and my favorite maroon tights. These tights are pretty funny though- They're called "maroon" but depending on the lighting I've seen them look anywhere from a deep purple to an almost bright red.

Snow Day

I'm so ready to finish the 30 for 30 and move on to new things that I've given myself new motivation for the home stretch- no new Christmas stuff until I finish the challenge (and with a new camera, christmas money for new clothes, a mini tripod, and the shoes I was dying for- That should happen SOON.)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Anybody else super excited for New Years outfits??

19. 20. 21.

Is anyone else ridiculously busy getting everything together in time for Christmas? I've been mostly done with shopping for awhile, but between cleaning, wrapping, and baking it has been crazy! Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some time tomorrow and the next day to post pictures of the last few outfits!

Catch up!

My 30 for 30 is finished and over the next couple days I'm going to try and get up pictures from the last half in which I didn't have a camera. Also, although I'm a little disappointed in my lack of blogging, I think it paid off in the long run, I made an A in my Chinese class AND Dean's list. I hope everyone's Holiday week has started out good too!

So here's the first batch of catch up outfits...

PRO: See the bare legs and sheer tights?! Yay for East Tennessee weather!
CON: See the lack of jewelry? It's because I accidentally left all but TWO necklaces in my dorm in Pittsburgh. Apparently my face was pretty priceless when I realized that... well I know what I'll be begging for during Christmas- cheap jewelry.

So I have a bit of a problem...

So it seems as though I'll be on a bit of a blogging break for the next little bit due to my newly dead camera. I'm pretty disappointed because I was already behind on the challenge... But it just looks like I'll have a lot of catching up to do once I get home and borrow my family's camera. Which actually may not be so bad considering I have finals this coming week...

Holiday? No.. Presentation.

{Skirt: Banana Republic Outlet}{Blouse: GAP}{Tights: WeLoveColors.com}
{Blazer: Thrifted}{Ring: Charlotte Russe}{Shoes: Target}{Belt: J.Crew Outlet}

I really liked this outfit... But before you think I wore these tights two days in a row- I actually wore this last week for my final presentation in my Internet Marketing Class. I always feel so much more confident when I'm dressed nice. And when I'm dressed creatively nice (not just a suit) I feel extra good. So that was today... er, last Wednesday. Proof that I am keeping up with the 30 for 30!

Confession.

{Skirt: Abercromie & Fitch}{Button up: J. Crew Outlet}{Tights: WeLoveColors.com}
{Sweater: Gift}{Belt: Old Navy}{Shoes: Target}{Necklace: Gift}

Maybe this is just because I'm a crazy college student- but almost every time I go back to my dorm during the day I change. Not the whole outfit- just pieces. Like, when I'm sitting in 8 a.m. Accounting I just can't help but think how much cuter a striped top would be with a certain skirt, or how a longer necklace would go better with my current outfit.... the list goes on and on. And yes, this happens almost everyday. It's the reason I have a mountain of dirty clothes in the corner of my room. But it's not from lack of planning, that I can attest to. There's just something about actually wearing an outfit for a few hours that really makes you feel what could be better. However, for some reason this has not once happened on days I wear this shirt. I'm not sure why, but it could be because I'm just so in love with it that I love every single thing its paired with. Seriously, you'll probably see me pairing this casual top with that houndstooth pencil skirt down the road- because I love it that much... oh, and because I think it might actually look kind of cool.

Black Friday

{Tunic: The Limited}{Blazer:Thrifted}{Leggings: TJ Maxx}{Scarf: Target}
{Oxfords: Urban Outfitters}
Haha, this ^ is my, I'm getting ready to get caught taking pictures of myself face.
Also, something must be wrong with my camera. Today I could only get awkward dark pictures or really bright ones like the one below.

So this is what I wore during my very first Black Friday Shopping experience... well, add a messy bun and that's actually what i wore. But that's a minor detail. Anyways, after Thanksgiving Dinner the boy and I watched movies until it was time to head out for shopping. We planned on going around 3 am so we would be in line for the door buster sales- but when it started raining cats and dogs outside we decided to wait just a bit longer before going. Despite the rain, I did get a few good things :) Did anyone else get anything good on Black Friday?

The Curse of the Gristmill and the Polka Dot Tights

{Top: GAP Outlet}{Skirt: Target}{Tights: Target}{Shoes: Payless}{Belt: Target}{Sweater: Gift} {Necklace: Forever 21}

I bought 3 things on black Friday: a scarf, comfy socks, and these polka dot tights which I wore for the first time yesterday... And wouldn't you know that the second I sat down at work I snagged them and ruined them. On the very first day! ugh.

Well I'd write more about my outfit or my day or whatever, but I haven't slept in almost 48 hours courtesy of 2 exams, a final presentation, and an art project. Sooooo on that note, I'm gonna head to bed ridiculously early so I can be back with another outfit post tomorrow.

Have a good Wednesday!
