This may just be my favorite outfit

You know the feeling you get when you put on an outfit you absolutely LOVE?  I had that feeling all day long when I wore this.  And honestly, I don't remember the last time so many people have commented on it- everyone wanted to know where my skirt was from!

I've had this skirt for at least 3 years, and probably worn it less than 3 times.  It's not that I don't love it- rather, it's that sometimes it's hard to wear this skirt in a non-grandma type of way.  Lucky for me, Ashley styled it up for the EBEW floral challenge.  I loved the way she wore it so much, I seriously wore this the very next day.

I think I need to rediscover more items from the back of my closet.  Surprisingly, it was more satisfying than wearing something new... this time at least.

Forgive me for the super short posts lately.  I feel like I'm completely blank every time I sit down to blog.  But thankfully I will officially be done with the semester in less than a week!  Unfortunately that means it's getting ready to be finals time (Monday and Tuesday for me....)  On top of that, one of my professors thought it was cool to assign us a 25 page group paper and 30 minute presentation.  Great timing professor, great timing.  Luckily it hasn't been too bad though and my group seems to be chuggin' right through it.

Alright, here's to the home stretch!

I know I just mentioned this in a recent post- but recently I've become obsessed with nutella. For my chocoholic self, it's the perfect topping to literally everything. Bananas? Check. Bagels? Check. Just plain by itself? Definitely check. Since I've been a little bit low on things to do lately (finals isn't quite getting to me yet...) I think I'm going to see if I can find a few easy and yummy nutella snacks. If I can find some good ones, you can bet on a post.

Also, this weekend my school is having our annual semi formal Cotillion, and I'm going. I'm actually wearing a dress I bought in high school, but I've never featured it on the blog before, so I think it'll be a good little addition :)

Ruffles

What
Dress (worn as top): Forever 21, $21
Skirt: Gap, $20
Wedges: Target, $20
Belt: NY & Co., $4
Ring: Forever 21, $3

Why
I'm actually still enjoying this challenge. Its really forced me to look into new ways to wear things, like wearing this one-shoulder dress as a top. Since the skirt was already pretty full, it was easy to hide. The only thing I didn't like was that since the dress was an empire waist, I had to wear the skirt pretty high too.. still, I'd rather compromise just a tiny bit and get a lot more wearability in my 30 items.
