This time the tights will last.

Dress: Forever 21, $20
Tights: Urban Outfitters, boyfriend :)
Ruffle Top (Under Dress): Forever 21, $15
Cardigan: Gap, $10
Flats: Target, $9
Necklace: Puerto Rico, 50¢
Coat: Macy's, $30
Purse: Thrifted, $4

First of all, sorry for the dirty shoes.  Second of all, this could be one of my favorite outfits ever.  Unfortunately this was overshadowed by a few bad things, such as the freezing weather, an inability to decide on absolutely anything, and the loss of daylight (and therefore the not so desirable picture taking conditions) which pretty much just created a bad mood for me.  Oh well, we all have those days.  What can you do??

On a much brighter note, Greg came to visit this weekend and we got to dress up for Spring Cotillion (a dance my school hosts.)  So I have plenty of fun pictures to share :)

30 for 30- Complete!

What
Jeans: American Eagle, gift
Top: The Limited, $25
Jacket: Target, gift
Shoes: Target, $15
Elephant Necklace: Forever 21, $4

Where
Working in the Gristmill Coffeehouse, then to classes.

Why
So the other day I was putting together a post about my 30 for 30 outfits when I noticed I never once wore my cream ruffle top. After a moment of confusion, I realized it was because that top mysteriously disappeared sometime ago... Hm. SO, the other day I was at The Limited with a coupon for a top of my choice, and it wasn't hard to pick this one. I loved the girly ruffles and polka dots with my brown military jacket (no, this was not included in the 30... minor details though...) and leopard print shoes.

But hey, my 30 for 30 challenge is complete! YAY! Later this week I'll be having a post rounding up all my outfits plus some of the things I learned from this. AND I also have some fun pictures to share from my trip back home. They're nothing too exciting, just a fall festival, cute dress, and abnormally warm weather.

Have a good week everyone!

Cheater.

What
Jeans: American Eagle, $20
Ruffle Sleeved Top: Target, $7
Sandals: Forever 21, $17
Scarf: Old Navy, $2
Necklace: Forever 21, $4

Where
To dinner at my neighbors house... As amazing of a cook as my dad is, it was nice to have something other than burgers and grilled food. haha. We had salad with shrimp creole and then fresh peaches for dessert. SO good!

Why
I came home from work and was planning on cheating. I know... bad. So I threw on these jeans and this ruffle sleeved top just by coincidence... and then I realized I wasn't cheating at all! Relieved and awful proud of myself I added this headscarf I just wore as a belt, and my funky elephant necklace- And then rewarded myself by online window shopping :)

The Final Countdown

What
Dress: Forever 21, $20
Scarf (Worn as Belt): Old Navy, $2
Bracelets: REALLY old
Sandals: Forever 21, $18

Why
I love this little dress, but sometimes I get a little stumped on how to mix it up. This time around I added a scarf belt to give it a pop of color and my black bangles for a little mod touch. Thats pretty much it for the day- only 3 more days of summer!

Ruffles

What
Dress (worn as top): Forever 21, $21
Skirt: Gap, $20
Wedges: Target, $20
Belt: NY & Co., $4
Ring: Forever 21, $3

Why
I'm actually still enjoying this challenge. Its really forced me to look into new ways to wear things, like wearing this one-shoulder dress as a top. Since the skirt was already pretty full, it was easy to hide. The only thing I didn't like was that since the dress was an empire waist, I had to wear the skirt pretty high too.. still, I'd rather compromise just a tiny bit and get a lot more wearability in my 30 items.

Lacy Layers

What
Blazer: Sears
Top: Old Navy
Skirt: Belk's
Tights: American Eagle gray sheer tights layered over black Target tights
Oxfords: Target
Bow Belt: Taken from a trench coat
Cameo Necklace: 50 cents at a Puerto-Rican market!

Where
Out to dinner at a Japanese steakhouse with my friend Kristen!

Why
I'm in love with this light pink/nude ruffle skirt! It's just so girly and swingy, and actually very comfortable. I added the bow belt, heeled oxfords, and a blush colored cameo necklace for a modern but sweet look.
